When
parties reach a resolution of the issues, the
mediator will draft a copy of their agreement and provide it to the parties.
The
document is then reviewed by the parties and their attorneys, if
they are represented by counsel.
(It is strongly suggested that each party obtain counsel
before finalizing the document.) One or both attorneys generally then finalizes the document
into a Final Agreement and, if necessary, documents are then filed
with the appropriate court for approval.
